Brown Eyes

Brown eyes can be some of the easiest and the hardest to find good colors for. The way to find really complementary colors for eyes is to find the color opposite of it on the color wheel....But where does brown fit? The answer is a big fat NOWHERE. Brown, like white, black, grey, and beige, is a neutral color. So 9 times out of 10 they wont be anywhere on a color wheel.
Here try to find it...
The best advice I can give you brownies is to go and look at your eyes in a mirror and try to find "your brown". Ask yourself the following questions: Are my eyes dark or light brown? Do they have more of a red, blue, purple, or green undertone? Are there any special qualities to my eyes(iris freckles or specs of other colors)?
Once you have done this the next few steps will be much easier.
If you found an undertone or specs of other colors in your eyes look back at the color wheel and find the opposite color. Test out eye shadows, liners, and even mascaras that have a hint of this color.
If you did not find anything or don't know what an undertone is(its ok!! haha) don't worry! There are still many ways to make your peepers pop!
The most flattering colors for browns are purples, greens, navys, coppers, and cobalts.
There really aren't many colors to avoid other that bright yellows and oranges. Some people also say pink doesn't go well with brown but I have seen many people pull this off. Don't be afraid to try new colors! The only way to really know if something will look good on you or not is to try it!
If you are still struggling to find a good color palette or really want your eyes to look good 24/7, take a walk down the cosmetics section of your drug or grocery store. A simple solution is Physicians Formula. They sell color palettes, liners and mascaras specifically for whatever eye color you have. I have seen much success with these and recommend them.
I hope I could help someone with some beautiful brown eyes find something to make their eyes look super sexy!
Here are a few examples of colors.
